This lightning storm lasted for about an hour last night. It was far enough away that we could just sit out on our porch and enjoy it.
I spent way too much time trying to take a picture of lightning striking.
And because we need a pic of Riley I thought this one was fitting. Just think of Riley singing Thunderstruck by ACDC. Da na na nahhh na na nahh na na Thunder

Cool picture & video of the lightning. It can be really beautiful when it's far away enough to not be scary. Riley's starting to look real chunky. I love her big cheeks.
Do you get a lot of thunder/lightning storms there? We get so many here in the summer. It isn't very fun when they wake Sofia up because then she ends up in our bed, which means we don't sleep very well. Last week, when there was a storm, Lorenzo decided to bring her whole mattress from her bed into our room on the floor, and she slept on that. That worked much better!
